Who I am
My name is Jean-Francois. French, I grew up un lived in France for a large part of my life. I have a Master in law and a Bachelor in German. I am passionate about teaching, travel and foreign languages. Today, I live in Peru with my wife, where I teach French online.
A traditional but unconventional education
I offer a teaching that stands out from modern pedagogy by reconnecting with classic pedagogical values. It's about emphasizing mimicry, rigor, learn by heart. I don't share only langage knowledge but also method for working and French culture.
Experiences
I have been teaching French for 5 years and 2 years full time. I had students of all ages and backgrounds. I teached french in business school, and school langage in Germany, Holland and Peru. Now I teach on zoom or skype.
Philosophy
Teaching is a sharing of knowledge and motivation. Learning a language is possible on three conditions : memory, rigor and perseverance.
- Memory because you have to learn grammar and vocabulary by heart to succeed. Neither the rules of a language nor its words are invented.
- Rigor because you have to be focused and pay attention to every detail to avoid errors and inaccuracies.
- Perseverance because learning a language takes time and can be tedious at first. You have to be patient before you see satisfactory results. Motivation is the key.
